Capital Improvements ADD provides up to a 20% local match annually for Urban Systems Funds for projects such as road repairs in the Algiers area. In 2007, the revitalization of Kabel Drive was funded by ADD. The next project is the lighting of the Intercoastal Bridge, which will improve safety for traffic traveling to and from the lower coast of Algiers. Also on the table for improvements are MacArthur and Tullis drives. The City of New Orleans schedules the timing of the projects.
