Kabel Drive

Kabel Drive has long been targeted to become a major economic corridor for Algiers. Its location as a main connector between General DeGaulle Drive and General Meyer Avenue makes it a perfect location.

In early 2007, with a joint effort funded by the Algiers Development District and the City of New Orleans, the commercial areas from General DeGaulle Drive to MacArthur Drive have been enhanced with the road expansion from two lanes to four. Now Kabel can easily be accessed as a main connector, as it was always intended.
